LICENSEPREDICTOR
Plan with confidence.
LicensePredictor turns your engineering and specialty license-usage history, at the feature level, into a backtested, confidence-scored forecast before the renewal call.
LicensePredictor v2.0.0 · tested on Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025 with Open iT Core Server 10.2 · federated sign-in available via Microsoft Entra ID, generic OpenID Connect, or SAML 2.0 for deployments that require it.

The forecast scores its own confidence before you act on it.
Every forecast comes with a trust score out of 100 and a plain-language confidence rating. Before you ever see a number, Evaluate mode has already put it to the test: held back part of your usage history, predicted against it, and checked how close that prediction landed to what actually happened. You bring procurement a number that’s already proven itself against real usage, instead of your best guess.
Stale data gets caught before it reaches your renewal call.
A forecast can look confident and still be wrong if the usage data behind it has gone stale. The health check catches that first, flagging any data older than the tool’s threshold before that number ever reaches a renewal call. Any dataset that drifts past the 548-day threshold gets flagged before you act on it.
Automatic runs replace manual report-pulling.
Forecast a single feature in seconds, or set it to run automatically across your full license estate, every feature, one pass. You decide the level of detail you actually need for that renewal or capacity call.
LicensePredictor flags anomalies between renewal cycles.
It scores each point that breaks the confidence band by severity (mild, important, severe) and by drift (one-off or persistent). A shift in demand doesn’t sit there waiting for the next scheduled report.
It plugs in to your existing data pipeline.
It’s a plug-in to LicenseAnalyzer™, reading the same usage data LicenseAnalyzer™ already collects. Nothing new to set up.
Preguntas frecuentes
¿Qué problemas resuelve LicensePredictor ?
It analyzes historical license usage to forecast future demand, so a licensing or renewal decision has a trend line and a confidence score behind it instead of a hunch and a stack of reports.
How much usage history does it need?
About 20 dated observations at minimum, with two to three years being a practical range. Consistency in the data matters more than its length. Erratic usage produces a less reliable forecast no matter how much history feeds it.
Does it make the buying decision for me?
No. It scores its own confidence and flags anomalies for review, but the guidance attached to a forecast isn’t proof of actual demand. It’s built to inform the person making the call, not replace them.
Do other license management tools do this?
Not as far as their public documentation shows. Every major tool in the category markets some form of usage forecasting or trend analysis, but none of them publish a backtested confidence score or a check on whether the underlying data earned that confidence before showing you a number.
