OPEN IT PHILIPPINES - BUCPC（Bicol University Computer Programming Competition）は、去る2014年2月13日に年次コンテストを開催しました。Open iT が主催するこのイベントは、世界中のイノベーションを推進する上でのコンピュータ・コーディングの役割を強調し、次世代の若いコンピュータ・プロフェッショナルに注目を集めることを目的としたビコール大学が主催するものです。様々な学校の大学生が参加し、ビコール大学理学部のスタッフが率いる審査委員会が用意したコンピュータの問題を解くことを競います。
今年、この名誉ある大会で優勝したのはAMAレガスピのチームです。彼らは6つの問題を514ペナルティ分で解くことができました。AMA LegazpiがAlbay-wide Computer Programming Competitionでトップになったのは2回目です。
