ビジネスチャレンジ
アイベル社は、エンジニアリング・ライセンスの監視と最適化のために、しばらくの間Open iT ソリューションを使用していました。しかし、エンジニアリング・アプリケーションをOpen iTのライセンス・ハーベスティング機能を利用した新システムに定期的に移行している間に、Open iT 利用はほとんどが事後的なものであったことに気づきました。彼らは、効率とコスト削減を強化するために、このソリューションをどのように積極的に活用できるかを模索しました。

アイベルはOpen iT と協力し、LicenseAnalyzer Level 3 を使用して未使用のライセンスを効率的に収集しました。また、Open iT の電子メールアラートシステムをセットアップし、定義されたしきい値に基づき、未使用または過剰なライセンス使用についてユーザーに通知しました。
これらのレポートで提供される情報によって、ライセンシングの状況を迅速に評価し、実際のライセンシングニーズを判断することができました。さまざまなライセンスとメトリクスの管理を考えると、ライセンスの使用状況を把握することは、必要なライセンスを正確に決定するために非常に重要でした。
